About

MacLaren Black Tie Gala

The MacLaren Art Centre’s Black Tie Gala is an annual event held at the MacLaren to raise funds to support the organizations’ children’s programming and exhibitions. The event sees an unprecedented turnout of art enthusiasts, community leaders, and sponsors, and is a testament to the vibrant cultural scene in Barrie. Each year, guests are invited for a night of luxury and glamour. Attendees indulge in the cocktail hour, door prizes, auction, live visual art demonstrations, gourmet dinner, and entertainment. This is one of the MacLaren’s largest fundraising events.

The MAC Gala is not just a celebration of art but a testament to the unwavering support of the community and the dedication of the MacLaren’s sponsors and partners. Through events like these, the organization continues to enrich lives and foster a thriving arts and culture ecosystem.

Thank you to each one of our sponsors and guests for helping make the MAC Gala a success! Your generous support directly benefits thousands of children and youth across Simcoe County who participate in the MacLaren Art Centre’s arts education programs each year. This year, we were able to raise over $150,000, which directly impact our great programming and exhibitions for the community to enjoy. These funds go straight to the community through the MacLaren, increasing quality of life and connection to arts and culture.
